ELECTION DAY 2022!

Direct balloting is now available at City Hall. Skip the line by voting this Saturday, November 5, from 10am to 3pm. Local open positions include Champlin Mayor, City Council Member Ward 1 and City Council Member Ward 2. Visit our website to register to vote, find your poll, view sample ballots and learn about candidates. The 2022 General Election is Tuesday, November 8.

THANKSGIVING FAMILY BINGO!

Gobble! Gobble! Join us at Mississippi Crossings on November 18 for our annual family BINGO night. All ages are welcome; each game will have an adult winner, who will receive a frozen turkey, and a child winner who will receive a fun prize. Register early as sessions fill up quickly; 70 spots available at 5:15pm and 7pm.

CHRISTMAS AT THE CROSSINGS!

Our very own little Hallmark holiday gathering will take place right here in our hometown on December 1 at 6pm. 2023 IS UPON US!

Our vision is safe and thriving communities! Our mission is to provide stability and security for all! With that in mind, the City Council has been hard at work on the 2023 proposed budget. Six work sessions in and PUBLIC SAFETY remains at the forefront of next year’s priorities, aligning with our community vision and mission. As part of a historically bold initiative to preserve the safety of our community, the City Council has unanimously decided to add three officers to support an ongoing commitment to STAY TOUGH ON CRIME. The addition will bolster city-wide coverage by increasing the minimum on-duty patrol from two to three per shift. Nearly 1/3 of the new initiatives impacting the 2023 Property Tax Levy are dedicated to public safety and half of the general operating levy increase will be used to address ongoing staffing and supportive service needs in our police department. ELM CREEK PARKWAY PROJECT!

We're rolling into November smoothly. Crews paved and striped both lanes of Elm Creek Parkway. Next up is median restoration, trail paving and irrigation as we start to wrap up this project.
