As part of the Mississippi Crossings Park Improvement Project, city council approved the Minnesota Wisconsin Playground design, equipment and installation proposal to construct a play area in the 3,300 square foot space between the Event Center and Outdoor Performance Area at Mississippi Crossings.
A natural theme guides the sloped design and includes a top railing, rubber surfacing for fall zone safety, slides, rock climbing, a merry go round, and various other interactive play features.
MC remains focused on activating the riverfront and providing a space for residents to gather as a community.
