Parks and Recreation is responsible for administering and coordinating recreational programs, leisure time activities, and special events as well as park system planning, design, development, and maintenance. We're committed to planning, developing, and operating Champlin's Park and Recreation system to meet community needs within the bounds of available resources.

    • Assist in staffing private rentals and recreation events
    • Help setup rental areas to meet client's needs but moving tables, chairs, and more.
    • Light cleaning and maintenance

Jump It Up - Bounce House Event2023 Bounce House Bonanza

Come to Andrews Park on Saturday, July 15th for JUMP IT UP!  We'll have over a dozen large inflatables (including several waterslides) onsite for kids to run and jump themselves silly!  There will also be several food trucks on site for the afternoon; enjoy something from The Lookout, The Corndog Company, or Minnesota Donut Shop!  Make a day of it - buy lunch (or dinner) and stay until the kids are all jumped out! Wristbands purchased on the day of the event will be $15 each. 

Included with your wristband:

  • Waterslides
  • Obstacle Courses
  • Bounce Houses
  • Barrel Train Rides
  • DJ 

Purchase early to get the discounted rate!  Pre-purchased wristbands may be picked up at the will-call tent on the day of the event. Tickets are only required for those participating (jumping).

Big Trucks & Cool Stuff2023 Big Trucks Flier

This amazing family event is back again this year!  Get up close and personal with some of the big Public Works equipment such as plow trucks, a front end loader, the water truck and more!  Police and Fire will also be onsite to show off some of their equipment and vehicles.

 Skip the cooking and plan to buy dinner from The Lookout food truck or maybe just dessert from Minne-Scoop-Ta!  Park at the Champlin Ice Forum and walk on over!
