JUMP IT UP

Bounce over to Andrews Park on Saturday, July 16 from 11am to 4pm for inflatables and more! Purchase wristbands online for $10 until July 10 or $15 after. This is a cashless event so day of purchases will require a card. Only jumpers need wristbands. Access includes inflatables, free cotton candy, snow cones, airbrush tattoos and Kidsdance DJ. Food trucks will be on site as a lunch option to stay and play all day!

NIGHT TO UNITE

Online registration for Night to Unite on Tuesday, August 2 is open until July 13! This annual event is a great way to connect with neighbors, make new friends, and build community. Register your gathering so we can stop by that evening, bring you a goodie bag, and say hi!

Mark your calendar for BIG TRUCKS & COOL STUFF on August 4, from 4pm to 7pm. Get up close and personal with the Public Works vehicles. Sit in a plow truck, front end loader, one-ton, water truck, tandem axel and more! This free community event is open to all ages. It will be held in the Public Works Yard, located behind City Hall. MOVIE IN THE PARK

Join us at Andrews Park for SING 2 on Friday, August 19. The movie will start at dusk. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. This is a free community event. Learn more.

RENTAL DENSITY ORDINANCE

City Council recently adopted a Rental Density Ordinance stating, in any R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, or MS Zoning district, no more than 10% of single-family lots on any block shall be eligible to obtain a rental license. View the Rental Licensing Program to learn more. Before applying, applicants should review the Rental Density map, on our website, for eligible blocks.

REDISTRICTING

As the population changes, it is important to re-draw ward and precinct boundary lines to balance population. As a result of the state's redistricting process, Champlin will now be in State House Districts 34A and 34B. This results in Ward 4 being split into two precincts, to allow for two legislative districts. Ward 4 residents living on the west side of Douglas will be in Precinct 1 and Ward 4 residents living on the east side of Douglas will be in Precinct 2. View the City of Champlin Ward Map.

ELECTION DAY 2022

Early voting for the August 9, 2022 State Primary Election has begun. Visit City Hall during normal business hours on Monday through Friday, or additional hours are available on August 6 (10am to 3pm) and August 8 (until 5pm), to vote early.
