109th Avenue Project Update – October 14, 2025
East Side of Highway 169 Road Closure Notice: The 109th Avenue closures at Xylon Lane and Winnetka Avenue have been rescheduled. We apologize for the delay. Construction is ever-changing, and weather permitting, thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to improve our community's infrastructure. To complete the installation, programming, and startup of the new traffic signals at Xylon Lane and Winnetka Avenue, the contractor will need daily closures of 109th Avenue east of Hwy 169 from 9am to 2pm on: - Wednesday, Oct. 15
- Thursday, Oct. 16
- Tuesday, Oct. 21
Please plan ahead and use an alternate route. Road Closure & Detour Information:
View the 109th Detour (PDF) West Side of Highway 169 (near the Jefferson Highway intersection): Concrete curb and gutter has been poured, and the contractor plans to start concrete paving for the roundabout later this week (weather permitting). ************************************************************** Project Webpage:
