Project Update – Jefferson Highway & Elm Creek Parkway Improvements
Street and utility improvements on Jefferson Highway and Elm Creek Parkway are underway. Work includes milling and replacing 2” of roadway, storm sewer upgrades, ADA pedestrian ramp improvements, and signal improvements at Elm Creek Parkway and White Oaks Trail.
Work Completed to Date:
- Spot curb removal and replacement along Jefferson Highway (outside lanes) and Elm Creek Parkway
- Removal of cracked sidewalk panels
Planned Work This Week (weather dependent):
- Repair of storm sewer structures
- Replacement of a large storm sewer structure at the Elm Creek Parkway/Jefferson Highway intersection
- Sidewalk panel replacement
- Continued spot curb removal and replacement along Jefferson Highway (inside lanes)
Traffic Notice:
Please watch for traffic control changes, including potential lane shifts, as work progresses. Traffic will be maintained in all directions throughout construction.
