109th Road Closure & Detour Route

Phase 1 Begins April 28th

Beginning Monday, April 28, 109th Avenue North and Winnetka Avenue will be closed for construction east of Highway 169, from Zealand Avenue through Winnetka Avenue. Access to Zealand Avenue for businesses in the Elm Creek Commerce Center will be maintained throughout the project.  The closure is expected to remain in place through approximately August 2025 (weather dependent). Please begin planning alternate routes and allow extra time for travel. View Detour Map (PDF).

Detour Route:
Elm Creek Boulevard → 114th Avenue → Douglas Drive → Zane Avenue → Highway 610 → Zachary Lane
