EASTER EGG HUNT!

Grab your basket and join the Easter Bunny at Andrews Park on April 7th. Thanks to Riverway Church there will be 15,000 candy filled eggs to collect. No pre-registration is needed. Tiny Tots begin at 11am and ages 5+ at 11:45am. Learn more.

RESILIENT YARD WORKSHOP!

Make your yard more resilient by joining a FREE virtual workshop on April 13th from 6-8pm. This workshop will give you the tools you need to create a beautiful habitat. The Environmental Resources Commission is also accepting grant applications that can be used to fund projects. Register here.

Earth Day Cleanup will take place on April 20th in 2023.

EARTH DAY CLEANUP!

RSVP to join us on April 20th from 5-7pm at Andrews Park for the 2023 Earth Day Cleanup event, hosted by the Environmental Resources Commission. Volunteers will gather to clean up litter in our parks and along our roadways.

City-Wide Garage Sale Registration is now open.

CITY-WIDE GARAGE SALE!

This year's sale will run from May 11-13th. Reserve a spot  by April 16th. The $12 fee includes local advertising and a listing on the free community map.

BAREROOT TREE SALE!

On Saturday, April 22nd, the City will host a tree sale at Mississippi Crossings. Residents are encouraged to choose and plant a tree for Earth Day as a way to help keep our Champlin Tree Canopy healthy and full.  Learn more.

WATERCRAFT SLIP LOTTERY!

The entry deadline has been extended to April 14th and we are accepting all types of vessels up to 25'. Would you like to lease a slip on the river at Mississippi Crossings? Enter the free lottery for a chance to have your name drawn April 24th at the City Council Meeting. View the details.

CHAMPLIN BUSINESS CONNECTIONS!

The City invites local business owners to the Mississippi Crossings Event Center on May 11th to connect over coffee from 9am to 10:30am. During the networking event, the city will raffle off giveaways to include a free rental at the new venue. Business owners must RSVP and be present to win.

CURBSIDE APPLIANCES COLLECTION!

The Environmental Resources Commission is sponsoring a curbside collection of used appliances. Register online by May 16th to be included on the May 22nd collection route. The total cost will be placed on your utility bill.

RECYCLING DROP-OFF EVENT!

The Environmental Resources Commission is excited to host the annual recycling event on May 20th from 9am to 1pm at Mann Theatre Champlin. You must be a resident to bring materials. Learn More.

Champlin is looking for vendors who want to be a part of a Tuesday farmers market.

NEW LOCATION, DAY, & TIME!

The City is excited to share that we are moving the Champlin Farmers Market to Mississippi Crossings in 2023, on Tuesdays, from 2-6pm. The market will run July 11th to October 10th. We also seek to add additional vendors. Learn more.

FATHER HENNEPIN FESTIVAL!

The 2023 "Great Champlin Get-Together" will be June 9-11th. It's time to pre-purchase concert tickets and register for the parade. We also invite local businesses to explore sponsorship opportunities and take part in the Business Expo. Expedition and Rockstar Bob are set to take the stage on Friday and Saturday. Concert tickets, parade applications and sponsorship opportunities are available online.
