Earth Day Cleanup Event

Thursday, April 18th | 5pm Kick-Off Event

You have a chance to make a difference as a part of the ERC Earth Day Cleanup Event! Individuals, families, organizations, and businesses all come together to volunteer by cleaning up litter along our waterways, roadways, and parks. This is a 2-hour event and ideal for high school students looking to complete community service hours. Sign up for this event by email, calling 763-421-1955, or fill out our online form below. If you are an organization, please provide us your group's name and the number of participants. We will provide trash bags and collections tongs. We ask that you bring your own gloves. It is advised that you wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

If you would like to participate, but cannot attend on April 18th, stop by City Hall, 11955 Champlin Drive, from Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM to pick up a map and a set of garbage bags. You are then asked to complete the litter pickup by Sunday, April 21st. Public works crews will be collecting the trash bags at the designated spots on the map.
