Planning for Champlin Municipal Facilities

The municipal campus is undergoing an $11.8 million dollar renovation that includes new facilities for police and public works and expanded facilities for administration and fire. The project will be completed fall 2008.

Construction Update
Due to favorable weather, beginning in December 2006, the municipal facilities expansion project is well underway. Construction meetings are held approximately every two weeks. The following are excerpts from the construction meeting minutes:

Two Open Houses were recently held to solicit public input, one was on January 11, 2006 and the other on March 8, 2006. The preliminary site drawing presented below were showcased at the open house events.
