General Election Tuesday, November 4

October 2, 2014
To assist voters with meeting the candidates, learning about their positions on city and state issues, and having questions answered, the League of Women Voters ABC (Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids Area) and Champlin Women of Today will conduct a Meet the Candidates forum for Champlin Mayor, Wards 1 and 2 City Council, and House of Representatives District 36A on Thursday, October 2nd at 6:30 p.m. at Champlin City Hall in the Council Chambers. The forum will be re-broadcast on Quad Cities Community Television (QCTV) Channel 16 and will also be available for viewing online at www.qctv.org
Election Day Registration:
Absentee Voting for the General Election begins September 19.
The first step to vote by absentee ballot is to complete the form requesting an absentee ballot. If you request a ballot for the General Election it will be mailed on September 19.
In addition to the online form presented here, forms are available at City Hall. If you complete the application in-person from September 19 through November 3, you will be provided your ballot directly.
The City of Champlin has four wards and four polling locations. The Ward 1 and Ward 3 polling locations have changed since 2012. Wards 2 and 4 remain the same as in 2012.

The timing of report submittal is both date specific and based on the the amount of funds spent. As a result not all candidates will have the same number of reports submitted.
